Weekly Intimations



We would like to warmly welcome any visitors worshipping with us today and hope that you feel at home during our service. If you are visiting today please sign our visitor’s book situated in the vestibule of the Church to let us know where you’ve travelled from then join us over a cup of coffee.

Elders/Pastoral Visitors please note that Communion Cards etc. are available for uplifting today.

2 p.m. TODAY Presbytery Pilgrimage – Round the Loch then back to St Margaret’s for short service.


Mon 15th April Mondays @ Midday. A new initiative at St Margaret’s – a prayer time for everyone….Pray together at the church halls, pray on your own or with friends or family at home, at work, on your daily walk or wherever you are. - we pray for our community; - we pray that our church is making a difference to those who live here; - we pray that God will help us to serve our community in ways that matter. 

2 – 4 p.m. Senior Circle – Scottish Music with Gordon Reid.

‘Soul Space’ Mon 15th – Wed 17th April  7p.m. – 8 p.m.

A time of reflection, quiet and sanctuary for people of all faiths or none. No sermon, no judgement, just a time of quiet to refresh and renew your soul. A range  of activities are available for those who want to use the time creatively using art, writing, reading, prayer, meditation, music or action to reflect.  Pop in for 5 minutes or stay for an hour. Your choice.

Wed 17th April 10.30 a.m. Midweek Worship. Short Informal Worship then chat over Coffee.

2-4 p.m. Come & Craft Group.

Thursday 18th April 6 p.m. 'Maundy Meal' A simple meal together with an opportunity to share together as a church family. All are welcome…whether you just want to share dinner, or if you would like to join us for Holy Communion or if you would just like have a bite to eat with friends before Soul Space. Please let us know in advance if you need a vegan/allergen free meal.

Friday 19th April  No Friday Coffees.

7p.m.'One Friday' A time of reflective worship using modern art to journey with Jesus through the events of Good Friday.

'Holy Saturday' 20th April 7p.m.

Come and sit in the silence for just 30 minutes.  Sit and wait.  Bring to God all the pains and hurts that you are holding, the things that you are afraid of, that you are waiting for... knowing God has been there too...God weeps with us when all we can do is sit and wait.


'Easter Day' Sunday 21st April 8 a.m. Short service of celebration at St Margaret’s Inch by Forfar Loch.  Allow 15 minute walk from car park off North Loch Road (i.e.7.45 a.m). Followed by breakfast at St Margaret’s Church.

11 a.m. Family celebration worship with Easter Egg hunt for kids and lots of fun for everyone!

Men’s’ Fellowship Group: Next monthly meeting is on Mon 22nd April 2019 at 10.15 a.m. in large hall for coffee and biscuits before commencing at 10.30 a.m. Guest speaker is Craig Borland, Park Ranger, Lochside, Forfar who as this year is the 250th anniversary of creation of Forfar Loch will give a presentation on history and background of how and why Forfar Loch came into being. Why not come along & bring a friend. If you are interested in attending please contact David Adam.
